Hazy amber. Aroma is piney and a touch floral. Has a mellow IPA character, soft, lightly fruity, with just a touch of bitterness.

Hazy light tan, with a fluffy head. Aroma is orangey and a touch floral. Balanced, nice grapefruit, pommelo, sweet malts, good balance.

Draught from the hand pump as part of a paddle, at Dove & Olive in Sydney on October 15, 2015.Cloudy dark brown to black color, tan head with lacing. Bitter, citrus, hoppy taste. Roasted aftertaste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Light acidic, roasted scent.

Pours gold with a small head.Nose shows coconut-like agave sweetness, some green apple and a dill/custard sorachi ace-like note.Falvours focus on the dill/lemon of the sorachi, little else shows through.

Pours hazy gold with a small head.Nose shows maris otter-like malt, grainy notes, peanuts and sunflower seeds. Interesting....Similar flavours: peanuts, sunflower seed, soft grassy hops and some vegetal notes.

Pours black with a quickly fading head.Nose shows coffee, roasted malt, pine, resinous hops, fruity confectionery. Nice.similar flavours: coffee, piny hops, roasted malt, soft sweet malt.

Pours dark copper with a creamy off-white head.Nose shows hefty toffee and caramel along with some soft earthy and resinous hops. Very sweet-smelling. Not exactly what you’d expect for an IPA.Flavours are just as malt-focussed. Some soft booze alongside piny, resinous hops followed by a metallic finish. Insanely malty for an IPA.

Bottle. Clear gold with a white head. Aroma of lemon, lime, melon, dill (!), tequila - odd but it works OK. Sweet hay with lime and herbs. Finish of the beer is more dry than bitter but the tequila and some wood take over. All hangs together pretty well and the Sorachi Ace meshes with the tequila better than the method of putting tequila in post fermentation would lead you to expect. But I didn’t really like it all that much.
