Clear golden, dense white head. Weak aroma, grain, yeast and banana. Malty, sweetish flavour with a little banana esters and a hint of citrus in the finish. Rather light.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with a low white head. Aroma is banana and clover, yet less intense or fruity than a regular Weizen. Body is light, a bit acidic from carbonation but decently sweet with banana. Dryish palate. The combination of carbonated acidity and sticky banana sweetness is unusual, but not really bad either. Surprisingly good.

Tap at Joes Beerhouse, Windhoek. It pours cloudy pale orange with a quickly dissipating white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, tangy, green banana, orange, tangerine and clove. The taste is actually not that sweet...crisp, dry, tart, tangerine, orangina, green chalky banana and grain with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Comes across with more tart orange peel instead of sweet banana, which was expected. Not sure if this is meant to be, but it works OK for me.

Had a bottle of this mid 2014 in the Ale House, Chelmsford. It was on special offer and soon found out why! Poured almost black, with an off white head. Aroma was somewhat malty, a bit roasted, with some dark fruits but was not very pleasant. Had an unpleasant bitterness to taste, was very highly carbonated, and texture was thin. By far the worst of the 3 beers from this brewery I tried.

Taste: lots of banana, yeast, some candy, spicy, bread. Aftertaste: more yeast, little bitter, malty, lots of banana.

Backlog. From tap at Swakopmund Brauhaus, Namibia, 12.07.15. Dark-brownish to black. Highly carbonated. Off-white head. Aroma of dried fruits (surprisingly). Taste of caramelized pineaple (even more surprisingly). Simcoe hops? Short aftertaste. Room for improvement.
