23 February 2019. (Tasting formerly known as) RBBWG. Cheers to all, thanks Kraddel for the hospitality! A Gambian country tick, woo-hoo! Clear golden with a lasting, thin, foamy, white head. Aroma of grain, bread, yeast, grass, sweet wort. Taste is more of the same, equally light grassy bitter & light malty sweet, very subdued, balancing notes of maize, white bread, some apple, faint citrus, all the while very yeasty & wort-like, ending dry, grassy, grainy, yeasty, a bit cardboard-like. Light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Drinkable & refreshing any other day, perhaps, but not right now.

T: malty, oxidized tones, bready, corny, watery, light body and medium carbonation, I didn’t expect something enjoyable here yet my country #90.

Clear pale blond beer, big creamy white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of marijuana, malty, grains, cardboard, pretty dirty touch. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: a bit malty, cardboard, grains, hay, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: slightly metallic, spoiled grains, hay, meh. What to expect, right? ;-) Another country ticked off my list though!

Bottled 330ml. -Thanks Ico! Clear golden coloured, medium sized white head, grain and light diacetyl in the nose. Sweetish cardboard, corn syrup, light grainy and cooked vegetables with rather sweet finish. This one is crap. Ordinary Jul Brew was much better.

Bottled 330ml. -thanks Ico! Clear pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, weak grainy corny nose. Dusty, sweetish grainy and touch of cardboard with short bitterish finish. Surprisingly not so watery and drinkable.

Bottle, enormous thanks Rako! Eternally lasting medium white head, slightly hazy golden body. Sweetish aroma, diacetyl on graininess, not nice at all. Mild sweetish cardboardy taste. Just off. As much as the regular version was nice, this one was crab. Bizarre.
