Malty, caramel, some oak, moderately sweet. Taste is along the same lines with caramel, some light dark fruits, and a light oak. Finishes with noticeable hoppy bitterness.
Pretty good, but there is not much coming from the bourbon oak.

Sampled from the tap at the Ocean Beach location. Pours a clear light gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has lots of grass and hay with a bit of grain underlying. Flavor is similar with grass and hay up front, some citrus rind and a touch of pine on the finish.
