La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il colore è nero come la pece. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il retrogusto è intenso e persistente. Al palato arrivano note di miele, crosta di panettone, caffè, liquirizia, frutta secca, luppolo, resina ed agrumi.

La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido si presenta opalescente. Il colore è giallo dorato. L'amaro è intenso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sul palato si attestano sentori di miele, cracker, frutta secca, agrumi, pompelmo, uva spina, fragole, lime e limone.

Bottle from the brewery. Dark brown, almost black, smaller beige head. Mild but nice nose - chocolate, biscuits, coffee, roasted presence, alcohol and woody notes that get more pronounced. Starts quite sweet, syrupy, dry fruits. Medium bitterness, roasted in the finish, slight vinous presence. Lasting aftertaste. Medium full, silky and quite warm. Nice sipper.

Bottle from Beer Republic. Aroma is piney hops with chocolate, some roast, coffee, tropical fruits, citrus, and grapefruit. Medium bitter, moderate sweet. Body is medium. Coffee, hops, chocolate. Good!

Bottle from Beer Republic. Aroma is fruity hops, tart fruits, citrus, stone fruits, peach, wheaty malt, tropical notes, mango, guava. Slightly lactic. Flavour is tart and mild bitter. Body is medium. Nicely fruity, expected a bit more tartness and IPA bitterness though.

Can, Reservoir Dogs Brewery. Clear golden, smaller white head, nonlasting. Nice hoppy nose, sweet pineapple and coconut - pina colada, anyone. Moderate sweetenss, a bit cloying and medium bitterness. Herbal-grassy aftertaste, alsting. Lighter body. Ok, though a bit too sweet.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, chocolate syrup, vanilla, liquorice and coffee. Flavours are mostly the vanilla, chocolate and coffee. Very roasted finish.
