Bottle at Courtneyโs in Killarney. The beer is a slighly hazy reddish-copper color with a medium thin and foamy off-white head that burns away quickly. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of grain and caramel. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, slight hops and a bit of cardboard. The finish is semi-sweet with a short earthy malt aftertaste. Barely average overall.

Bottled, from The Drink Store, Dublin. Hazy bronze colour, rich head. Very floral nose with some hay. Dry and crisp with light body. Gentle fruity bready malt under a wealth of floral, hay-like hops. Distinct resiny bitterness. A surprisingly tasty bottle conditioned bitter from my favourite Irish brewery.

This brew pours brownish-black with a medium thick khaki head that diminishes slowly. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt and a touch of vinegar. Light body with flavors of toasted malt, dark chocolate and more vinegar. The finish is roasty with a vanilla and malt aftertaste. Something seemed off about this one, below average overall.
