Hand-pulled half-pint in the Wheeltappers, Loughborough on 20th January 2025. Lovely looking beer, red hue to the chestnut coloured beer, clean and clear, soft off-white crown on top. Malty and semi-sweet, good hoppy base, very enjoyable. I would have had more, but I was on a mission and in ticking mode!

Growler from LCB. New brewery for me (#1005). Clear dark gold/light amber with thin white top. Biscuit and caramel like malt with minerals and sweet apricot puree on the nose. Taste has a biscuit and wafer malt quality to it with tangy citrus and light apricot, quite bitter with light hop resin. Semi drying mineral water quality to it also. Near medium bodied, slick. Certainly malty but quite a hoppy finish makes this an English IPA rather than the ESBs they sometimes are in reality. .

Creamy off white head on a copper coloured body. Caramel, toffee & malt aroma. Medium bodied, smooth thinning out to a cloying back. Malt, caramel, toffee parkin & fruity tastes. Tasty but not very bitter for a Bitter.

Cask growler from Low Cost Beer. Appearance - golden and clear, fairly flat. Nose - skunky and grassy. Also, sweet caramel and lemon. Taste - lemon, spice and caramel. Palate - light to medium bodied, tangy, spicy and a little sweet. Overall - this wasn't in the condition it would've been in at a cask pub local to the brewery. I hope to try it again in better condition.
