Handpull cask at the Beer Pharmacie, Syston. Light copper, translucent, with a good-sized off-white head on top. Aroma is malt-dominated, with an earthy breadiness. The initial sweet, malty taste turns to a leafy hop bitter almost immediately, with notes of redcurrants in the aftertaste. Soft carbonation. A basic but enjoyable basic bitter.
