2 malt likka in one evening, I feel like I am in college. Draft at Naked City, they don’t allow smaller pours of this so I am drinking this in a Tulip glass. Ironic, sardonic, weird, or something all in one. Golden and slick looking, clear. This batch is 11.5 while older batches have been below 9 abv. Aroma does give off that corny, his octane charactet... Thank god!!!!!! I was starting to worry that craft malt likka was too refined. Fusel alcohol mixes withbsweet, wet white bread. Low hop. Man, I wish malt likka tasted this good in college but also cost like $2 for a double deuce as opposed to $7 for 12oz when I am in my 30s.

Draft pour pint at Naked City, after spending part of this wonderful day running here from my house. If it weren’t for burgers and pretzels, running and craft beer would be my perfect pair. Pours a juicy cloudy orange color with a soap bubble head. So much hop aroma and play or here. Love the name too, and it reminds me of a favorite comedian of mine. Juicy hops and a fruity finish. What’s not to love here?

My buddy Mr_Native recommended this beer to me, calling it his favorite porter. Since I haven’t made it back to Naked City in forever, I always hoped I would just run into it sometime. A year later, that time is now. Draft pour pint at the Pine Box. Pours jet black with a cream tan foam head. Very nice roasted aroma. Flavor is creamy vanilla sweetness, with a smooth transition to a more robust coffee finish. Has that milk chocolatey, rich flavor that lingers on forever. Sweet like a dessert porter, but has a bold side as well. Very consistent dry cocoa throughout. Exceptional, very enjoyable porter here.

Dark brown. Thin head. I actually really like how this looks because it is not at all what you expect in a kriek. Aroma is a light cherry and maybe some dark malts. The chocolatey malts are actually the dominant taste, though with cherry and cinnamon on top of that.

On tap at Brouwer's Cafe, pours a hazy bright golden with a medium white head. Aroma is a good mix of resinous hops and caramel malts, skewed slightly towards the sweet maltiness. Flavour is similar, with loads of intense resinous hops, backed by a big caramel malt backbone. Rather high alcohol burn on the finish, without being too detracting. Very abrasive and bit perfumey. Decent, but needs refining.

dark brown color. Nice smokey nose with good roasted malt and chocolate character. Citrusy hops work well. Had it with BBQ at Smokehouse and it worked very well.

Draft - Sweet dark sugars and burnt notes. Jet black with a decent light brown head. Burnt notes, dark sugars and a long bitter finish. I didn’t really get the creamy notes.

Draft - Nice toasty chocolate notes with a touch of cinnamon. Dirty brown. Cinnamon, toasted malts, cherry notes and a bitter finish. Nicely balanced and lots of interesting complex flavors.

On tap at WA Winter Beer Festival 2015, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out some khalua, vanilla, and cocoa. Flavour is robust, with loads of roasted malt, followed by kahlua, vanilla and alcohol. Quite messy. It's okay, but nothing complex or pleasing. Meh.

On tap at WA Winter Beer Festival 2015, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out lightly tart cherries and a slight hint of cinnamon. Flavour is intense, with a great mix of fruity sweet cherries and cinnamon. Unusual, but they nailed the blend of cinnamon and cherries. Body is rather heavy, almost like a stout. Very enjoyable.
