Pours a very dark brown with a slight beige head. Aroma of figs, figs, figs, figs... Naturally. Extremely sweet, like a drinkable candy. Very special. This is far too sweet and candy-like for me to consider it a great beer, however I had fun drinking this curiosity.

Pours a dark brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, some caramel. I found it had to pick out the dates, which is somewhat disappointing. Nevertheless this is a decent dunkler bock.

Pours a dark brown colour with a big frothy off-white head. Aroma of raisins, dark chocolate, caramel, sweet dark fruit. Smoky, dry finish. This is a very nice bock.

Pours a black as the abyss colour with a small beige head. Potent aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate, lots of peat, coffee, vanilla, liquorice, wood and ofcourse Laphroaig whiskey. Flavour is low on sweetness with a moderate to medium bitter finish. The wood aroma is quite distinctive in this one. Nice one.

Tap de Prael, Amsterdam: Dark brown coloured brew with an fine mellow sweet taste and some hints of caramel. This beer likes as a good British Brown Ale.

Bottle. Deep rubyish brown colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is nuts, some vegetables, sweet grains, mild toffee and some wooden tones too. Flavour is vegetables, nuts, caramel, mild grainy and some slight berryish and alcohol tones.
