In a nice vinyl records store in Antwerp main train station. Chocolate, malts, caramel. A great beer to sip calmly and slowly while you wait for the train

Pours clear, light pale gold. Medium small white head. Scent is very raw, bit 'unfinished', wort-like - with a grassy-floral hoppy undertone. Taste is very similar. Surprisingly (and pleasantly) bitter, floral-grassy hops, but the base is very wort-like. raw and rough, feels unfinished. Drinkable, for sure, but not great.

Small, fast gone just off-white head over clear golden beer, finely carbonated. Very aromatic nose, cilandro, citrus, passion fruit, nectarine, lunaria. A short moment quite bitter, with some retronasal reminders of the above aromas, then going all watery, to finish indifferently bitter. As said, light, watery, soft/medium carbonation. I'll never be a fan of nablab/bwabza's. This one is not going to change my opinion, despite the very attractive nose.

Draught Good yellowish-tan head over fully opaque brown-black beer. Roast, cigarash, breadcrust - I suspect some Maillard - faint fruity esters, overbaked wholemeal bread. Roast, coffee, ashes. Again very faint fruity esters - berries, but as to which... Stout- and fruitacidity in the finish, but warming up, the beer acquires some more sweetness. Full bodied but not heavy - the fruit? Slick. Nice, but IMHO the beer would have benefitted from a higher fruitbill, it would have given it more depth.

Draught Very pale lemon-yellow head, slowly receding over hazy orange beer. Fresh hops, lunaria, point of fruitacid aromas, Linden. Sourish, hints of rhubarb, sour apple, unripe kiwifruit, young celeri, yuzu, lemon, gooseberry. Light to medium bodied, very refreshing; soft if good carbonation. Very nice hybrid, summer special.

Draught Frothy, very dense yellowish head, stable, over nearly opaque dark orange beer; shards of lace. Fresh malt, orangepeel, some continental hops, deciduous leaves (maple?); some candy sugar/syrup. Rather bitter, if with a good malty (partly coloured) underbuild. Again orange/orangepeel, and a fine balance between EU and NW hops. At least medium bodied, good carbonation, quite slick. Nice bitter tripel.

Just lighter yellowish head, medium if really stable over finely carbonated orange-golden beer. Aromatic, citrussy nose, citrussy hop. Not a trace or the spices. Again mainly citrus and then quite some malt(body). In the very finish and aftertaste, there is a vague spiciness, but again no way to identify the spices. Lemongrass, of course, can blend with the citrussy hopflavours. Warming up, the appearance of rosewater, no doubt again the hops. Quite good body, creamy texture (from the head), very well-carbonated, almost viscous. Nice! IMHO, rather a real IPA than the spiced blonde it ought to be. Txs to Stef!

Bottle at home shared with Laura. Huge sized fizzy, bubbly white head on top of a clear lightly pale golden colored beer. Aroma and flavor are malts, light iron, a bit dusty, medium to firm bitter with some kind of odd twist. Hmm not a big fan of this one.

Bottle at home. Hazy yellow color, average sized white head. Aroma and flavor is malts, hops, hoppy bitter. Alright but something odd. Decent to medium body and carbonation.

Towering, dense and stable white head over fully hazy yellow beer, furiously carbonated and displaying cobweb lace. Fruity, especially grapefruit, spring leaves, citruspeel, ugli or pomelo. Short, sharp acidbite, with chalk, bicarbonate; citrus, again like pomelo or ugli or suchlike. Finish again chalk, and just a hint of a whiff of smoke. Creamy feel (despite the CO²), probably due to the rye. Not more than medium bodied. Better than decent - likeable and refreshing IPA. Txs to Stef!
