Pours a clear copper-gold color with a medium bone white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Fruit, yeast and rye aromas. Light-bodied with flavors of fruity yeast, mildly spicy rye malt and a bit of hops. The finish is wheaty and malty with a rye and yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft at Pour Taproom in Charlotte. Cloudy yellow color big white head. Earthy lemon aroma. Taste is similar no bitterness worth mentioning

Pours a hazy gold color with a small white head and fair retention. Spots of lacing. Lime lager aroma. Flat Mouthfeel. Generic lager flavor with a little lime taste and a lightly salty finish. More lime flavor than salt. Unremarkable, but nothing bad. As advertised.

Bottle thanks to Funk. Pours copper with small white head that lasts. The aroma is raisin, toasted malt, wood, bourbon. Slick body, similar flavors to nose, boozy, good.

12oz bottle at Hyatt Regency, San Antonio, TX, USA. Pours light brown, with limited foam. Aroma is weak malty, generally lame. Body is light, with moderate carbonation. Taste is moderately sweet, pretty uninteresting. Finish is average.

Should've read the description earlier; I had no clue I was getting into a peach beer. General dunkelweizen notes are there--caramel, toffee, bread, and a little clove--but couple these flavors with the juicy peach backbone and the pint grows cloying as it warms, without any hop balance to offset the sweetness. Oily pecan adds a slight nutty undertone, but otherwise a sweet peach brew. Not for me..

Draught at Maddys DC. Dark amber with a minimal head. Aroma of dark malt. Flavour is sweet malt, warm fruit, herb and bread.

NE style IPAs have been slow to show up locally. I see a Texas brewer is making a try, I have to give it a chance. A lonely 12 oz can bought in close-by Odessa, the lid is popped and I tilt into a smallish beer glass. It hits the marks right off, a dense gold-yellow-orange body finished by a heroic, almost pure white head. I determine a tropical fruit, grassy nose. Follow up with a drink now. Lemon, orange, a light hoppiness, sort of flattish after seeing that strong foam. It settles in with a moderate bitterness. Not exactly lighting my fire with this one, I anticipated more.
