Can - Light grains and some toffee sweetness. Clear amber with a decent white head. Light sweet grains and a touch of caramel. True to style.

22 oz bottle poured with high hopes and expectations for little reason. When did these guys sneak there way to the Seattle area? Had a couple around here from them, but at obscure locations. Cloudy orange copper pour with a thick, lasting foam head. Earthy aroma. Barely sweet caramel flavor. This slowly grew on me. Had a rough time with it at first, but after a long while of sipping on it, it became enjoyable.

Cask at London Pub, Vancouver
Black color, small brown head. The aroma is sourish, like old beer. Soft mouthfeel, undercarbonated and a bit too warm; decent Stout, a bit too yeasty though, with barely any PB&J, thanks god; moderately sweet.
Drinkable.

Bottle from Big Ridge Liquor Store, Surrey
Cloudy dull golden color, small head. Decent Pale Ale, dry but not weak; the malts are a bit grainy; a bit of resins, but overall not much hop quality.
Not bad, but below expectations.

A wonderful training wheels IPA that was fairly innocuous in smell, taste and aftertaste. Some hops were noticeable, like a fly resting on your shoulder on top of a heavy sweater noticeable. Medium body. Ordered a jug with my step-dad’s over 70 y.o. hiking group and one guy got mad at me cause I ordered an IPA and he hates those bitter beers. Ultimately he was pretty happy I introduced him to a great IPA.

Dark brown color that doesn’t look anything like that bottle. Very malt with some noticeable chocolate malts. Mildly sweet. Fairly mainstream accented. Not actually bad, but not something I would order again.
