Description
Oscars Brewery is a small family run brewery currently located in Nelson, Lancashire, supplying the trade, covering Lancashire, Cumbria and all of Yorkshire. All our beers are cask conditioned and available in 9 Gallon casks or pins to meet each publicans needs. We aim to alternate our beers every 4-5 months to keep up with the demand for different ales, and to also bring on one seasonal special beer.
The brewery was created by John Smith opened during 1994 under the name Hart Brewery, being located in John's garage. In 1995 a location was found in Little Eccleston. End of 2010 the brewery relocated to Preston and adopted the name Hart of Preston. The brewery was taken over in mid-2017, renamed Oscar's Brewery in early 2018 and moved to the current location at the end of 2018.

A cask pint, hand-pulled at The Crown Inn, Oakengates on 3rd Oct 2016. Golden, clear and clean: full white head. Cascade hop showcasing it’s citrusy aroma and flavouring power. Decent, but I am not a big fan of ’single hopped’ beers as I often find them one dimensional in nature. This was fine though.

Cask @ Ye Cracke, Liverpool. 20th Anniversary special, but still the same ale. Black with a creamy off-white head. Its smokiness gives it the feel of a floral-infused roasted malt in both aroma and taste.
