Description
The Beer Joint is Leesburg's biggest and best brewery, restaurant and lounge providing the finest food, burgers and bourbons in the business.

Admin Note: Formerly known as Vintage 50, in 2014 the owner decided to rebrand as 'The Beer Joint'. No change to beer recipes after the change, only a different marketing approach to the brand. Brewery went out of business in late 2014.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear dark brown color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of strong smoke, dark fruit, roasted malts, citrus. Taste is smoke, roast, mild salt, chocolate, caramel. Medium bodied, dry, high carbonation.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy copper color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus, stone fruits, canned fruit, toffee, caramel, mild earth. Taste is toffee, caramel, stone fruits, citrus, earth, tropical hops. Medium-full bodied, low booze, low carbonation, good balance.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear very dark brown color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of sweet malts, chocolate, cocoa, oats, mild rye and earth. Taste is sweet roasted malts, nuts, chocolate, sweet cherries. Medium bodied, low carbonation, a bit on the sweet side.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Fair head retention. Aroma of doughy malt, strong corn and a faint hint of hops. Taste is sweet malts, corn, dust, toasted malts, mild grassy hops. Medium bodied, high carbonation.

Growler from the brewpub on 05/07/2011. Slightly hazy golden body with a large foamy white head. Sweet spicy and grassy hop aroma on a pils background. Sweet pils malt flavor with light spicy hops in the background. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a hazy orange color with a small white head. Aroma was notes of citrus, some light grapefruit. Flavor was light grapefruit, citrus. Touch of spice.
