Part of the sampler flight at the brewpub on a quiet Saturday afternoon. Poured a slightly hazy orange-amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma was grain notes, caramel characters, toffee perhaps, plenty of tropical citrus character to it. Flavor was light malts, citrus character, and rye spice. Pretty refreshing for that ABV.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber color with a thin white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of brown sugar, herbal hops and a salty note. The taste is brown sugar, herbal notes and a faint smokiness. Fairly dry. Medium bodied. This is the kinda beer where I don’t really like the components, but it all works together beautifully.
