On tap at April Brews Day, pours a hazy bronze with a large white head. Aroma brings out biscuity malt and some citric tartness. Flavour is big on the citric tartness, with biscuity malt and some floral notes. Not sure what the hell they were going for, but this isn't overly invigorating.

On tap at April Brews Day, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings skunky grassy hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with grassy skunky hops and dry biscuity malt. Quite skunky, but it's alright.

Draft - Light orange peel. Clear gold with a decent white head. Grainy citrus sweetness with a touch of funk. A stone fruit funk in the wrong way prevails.

Alright, I’m having this at Pit Stop like buckeyeboy did in December. Is this the keg???????? By the looks of this, I think so. Brown color veer. Look, this is exactly as it’s advertised - nose is light and full of cocoa powder, dry and chocolate. Then I sip it and the gose come through. It’s lacuna lacto, light, and completely juxtaposed to the cocoa. I know that is the goal but I don’t like it. No thank you. Novelty is all this is, otherwise it’s a monstrosity.

With these sour IPAs that show up in rare occasions, I always try to decide if I love the idea, and at what point in the sour scale does an IPA become a sour ale. I’ll never have a full grip on beer styles, but this is a fun game to play. Draft pour pint at the Collective. Clear, still copper point with a foam ring head. Juicy splash of grapefruit and pineapple from quite a distance. Flavor is juicy, hoppy, cool and tart. The sour plays off of the fruit flavor nicely, and is a good response to the hops. Lingering fruit, with a bitter reminder. Very fun style that if we didn’t have so many already, I’d say it deserves it’s own. Hoppy sours are in for me at the moment. Another good one here.

Draft, 12 oz pour at Hop and Hound. Pours a cola black with a tan fizz head. Big roast on the aroma. Flavor is heavy roasted malt, coffee hints, and a nice, balancing sweetness. Toasty linger forever. Stand out hops, which is a unique quality for a stout like this for me. Drinks super easy. Very nice.

Draft pour pint at Thirsty Hop. Lighter pale golden in color with a fading oily fizz head. Typical pulse aroma with straw and soft corn. Flavor is crisp, flavorful straw, hints of apple fruit, and a long, cool finish. Fruity pilsner for sure. Has the necessary amount of flavor. Good beer here.

22 oz bottle poured, along with game 6 of the season. Early day game, early day type beer. I always enjoy opening up these coffee porters early in the day. Sets the tone for what could always potentially be a good day. Beautiful nitro looking pour with a cream foam cap head. Bold coffee shop aroma. Flavor is soft bitter black coffee. Roasted. Not really sweet. Straight up coffee with a cream lingering mouth feel. Very enjoyable.

12 oz can poured. Rating for game 3. Huge win in the 9th. Pours a golden yellow color with a fading fizz head. Aroma is sweeter fresh fruit, citrus, with some fruity, floral hop flavors. A beer that pairs well with baseball. Especially if there are games all day. In my opinion, this is exactly what a session IPA should be. It’s light, flavorful, and doesn’t have a harsh bitterness that most of them do. Extremely refreshing. Enjoyed the hell out of this.
