Growler, pours black with a medium brown head. Aroma brings out lots of almonds on the nose, with light cocoa and a touch of coconut. Flavour is lovely, with notes of coconut flakes, cocoa powder, and a touch of lactose. Quite highly carbonated, but not detractingly so. Well-balanced and drinkable. Very tasty stout.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear deep gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of tart and sweet rhubarb with a sweet apple backbone. Flavor combines sweet apple and sweet rhubarb (that has a hint of tartness) with a sweet grain backbone.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear yellowish gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of straw with some light grass to give a crispness. Flavor has sweet grain and a bit of biscuit with crisp grass in the finish.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear deep brown with a tan head they dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dark roasted malts with a bit of creamy chocolate and dark grains. Flavor starts with dark grains and creamy dark chocolate with some bitter roast coming through in the finish.
