on tap at the brewery pours hazy orange with a medium white head. Aroma is big tropical fruits and fresh mangos. This stuff is fantastic. Kind of reminded me of Hangar 24 Polycot but with more hop character still coming through. Really an excellent beer.

on tap at the brewery, pours light amber with a medium off white head. Aroma is a big hop bouquet of pine, pineapple and tropical fruits, dank grassy notes and light toast. Flavor is light toast and nuts ending super dry with again very pine, dank and grassy hops. Really nice IPA that is so freaking dry in the finish you just have to keep drinking.

Had this at the RB Pgh tasting at lithyβs place 5/21/11. Big thanks to Dan beerman6686 for this growler. Pour isbig and black. Volatile aroma with a hint of vanilla olfactory. Alarmingly high alky first taste impressions, way to much for my girlie lager lovin taste buds. Comes across much more than the 8% listed here. Big thick dark alky bitter chocolate flavors. Some co2 but what exists is covered by the bold flavor profiles. Oily & mouth coating, reminds me of old shovelhead 60W. Borders on impy stout territory fer sure. Boldly on style. Thanks Dan for ruining my taste buds.

Growler at DLD. Left along the row of dead solders at the curb across from Floyds. Solid black with deep brown tan head. A lot of cherry in the nose and a little bit of alcohol. Solid taste. Smooth with some noticeable roast malt to it. Alcohol is quite strong. More like dried cherry leather but quite tasty. Except for an increasing note of malt roast, itβs very smooth. Alcohol is warming, not burning.
