Bottler. Hazy gold with a decent white head. Grainy malts with a hint of sweetness, apricot and a touch of banana, with a gentle finish. Ok.

Bottle, 11C. Clear reddish amber with a cream head. Aroma of toffee, raisins, orange zest, white pepper, a whiff of smoke. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Sweet, but perhaps not as sweet as suggested by the aroma with singed toffee and some dried fruit. A bit empty where it might have been rich. The citrus gets lost. Firm bitterness. Slightly peppery and smoky at the end. Didn’t do much for me.

33cl bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours golden with a thin head. The nose has honey and malt. The taste has sweet floral honey. The palate is medium body with a slightly sweet finish. Overall wouldn’t be excited about trying this again.

33cl bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours golden with a very thin head. The nose has cake mixture and soft citrus notes which I’m struggling to pin a particular fruit. The taste has oranges against a good bran backbone. The palate is close to medium bodied with a crispy texture and a nice zingy refreshing finish. Overall, a tasty pale ale, which goes slightly towards a bitter in style.

Tap, Flinders Pub. Hazy very pale gold with a lasting white head. Modest aroma with lemon, oranges, hay. Light bodied, high carbonation. Tastes of light grain, citrus and a little pepper. Crisp finish with moderate bitterness. Won’t scare off the average punter. Hits the spot. Good and guzzleable.

(Tap) clear coppery with slight white head. Very slight apple aroma. Medium body and carbonation. God apple flavour with nice balance of tart and sweet. Overall a decent cider.

(Tap) Cloudy straw colour with good white head. Subtle aroma - lemon with floral hints. Medium bodied with excellent mouth-filling carbonation. Refreshing crisp combination of citrus and hoppy bitterness. Leaves nice otter aftertaste. Overall, nice and refreshing.

From a 330ml bottle on 31/3/2013. Pours a slightly hazy light golden with a small head. Has a touch of bubblegum and banana on the nose. There’s more banana and bubblegum in the flavour, with a decent lemony tang, and a mild bitterness at the back. The carbonation is true to style. Nothing remarkable but solid enough.

(Bottle) Clear amber with slight head. Pleasant fruity (stone fruit) aroma with hints of toffee. Light body with good fine carbonation. Taste is refreshing: fruity tang with balancing caramel toffee notes. Hint of bitterness in finish. Overall quite a decent beer.

(Bottle) Clear amber, no head. Subtle, quite peasant sweet fruity aroma. Light body quite well carbonated. Tangy fruity foretaste with reasonable bitterness in the finish. Drinkable, peasant, unremarkable.
