Description

Clear dark mahogany beer under a slightly irregular bananacream-coloured head. Bread, sugarloaf, dry autumnleaves, chestnuts, maltbomb - sweet & appropriate. Quite dry, even bitterish initially. Again leafy, chestnuts with little sweetness, acorns. Maltsweetness, however there, remains hidden in the background, though gradually getting bolder. Quite slick & chewy, rich. Not totally attenuated, I guess, and low carbonation. Classical smoked Bock, quite nice.
