Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Tart raspberry aroma with lactic notes, raspberry yoghurt, light malt, and a touch of strawberries. Flavour is tart and moderate sour. Body is medium. Not bad for a brewing accident, decent kettle sour, but not very exciting.

Bottle from a local supermarket. Sweet malty aroma with soft floral and spicy notes, some honey and bready wheat. Sweetish flavour with a mild bitterness. Body is light to medium. Sweet and dusty, dull beer.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is strong orange with tangerine, orange peel, soft wheaty malt, fanta orange. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a mild bitterness. Body is light. Too much like orange soda but the bitterness and soft malt save this from being a disaster.

Bottle from Hopt. Aroma is roasted malt with strong Port barrel, chocolate, vinous red fruits, grapes, oak, some notes of coffee. Flavour is mildly tart and a bit sweet with a fairly dry finish. Body is medium. Decent, but blunt barrel aging, lacks some smoothness and balance.

From tap at Stadscafé Het Refter, Zwolle. Herbal and floral aroma with a heavy sticky body, some alcohol, malt, yeast, notes of overripe fruits. Sweet, sticky, yeasty and very herbal, too heavy for its own good. Not unpleasant, but surely a bit weird.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is resinous hops with plenty of pine resin, grapefruit, malt, caramel, ripe orange. Pretty bitter and fairly sweet as well. Body is above medium. Some alcohol noticeable, bit hot. Bittersweet and resinous, good.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. As Kompaan Levensgenieter MMXX. Aroma is fruity hops with citrus, orange, soft tropical fruit, grapefruit, and pale malt. Flavour is light sweet and medium bitter with a dry-ish conclusion. Body is medium. Good IPA. Lacks New England finesse but as a 'regular' IPA this is fine.

From tap at Stadscafé Het Refter, Zwolle. Basically a banana smoothie with bitterness. Lots of sugary banana and lactose in the aroma. Flavour is bittersweet with a creamy mouthfeel. Too sweet, too much lactose, liquid banana candy.

Bottle from Mitra Assendorp, Zwolle. Sweet brown malt aroma with caramel, spices, some chocolate, dried fruits, some raisins. Sweet flavour with a mild bitterness. Medium body. Not picking up much ginger, some nice spiciness. Decent Quad.
