Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Swansea Beer Festival 25/8/2018. Amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Sweetish, bready, malts, caramel, some oak character and a pleasantly bitter finish. Good.

Cask. Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is mild nectar, some wood, herbs, a bit sweet and bready malts as well as some slight berries. Flavour is wooden, herbal, mild nectary and honey like sweetness along with a mild floral bitterness to it.

cask @ GBBF 2011. Pours a dark brown almost black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty caramel aroma with hints of coffee. Roasted malty caramel and coffee flavor. Has a roasted malty caramel finish.

Cask at GBBF 2011. Very dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of chocolate and roasted malt with a fruity touch. Sweetish roasted malt, chocolate and dark fruity flavour with a nice bitter finish

Clear golden color, medium white head. Aroma of citrus and grass. taste is malty with a bitter finish. Not bad.

Cask at GBBF 2011, Day 2. Pours clear brown with a light foam. Burnt toast and wood on the nose. Light sweet flavor, mild toast notes. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Dry finish, more wood and roast. Alright. Just alright.

From cask. Pours dark brown with no head. Aroma is roasted and dark malty, roasted and dark breadish. Bitter, dark malty and roasted breadish. Ends dry and dark malty, light liqourice note.

Cask (handpump) @ GWBCF2011 - Great Welsh Beer and Cider Festival, Cardiff Interantional Arena, Mary Ann Street, Cardiff, Wales.Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, apple. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft.
