Bottle from Bellingers Jet Garage, Grove, Near Wantage, Oxon consumed 08-10-08 Pours dark copper in colour with a lovely white bubbly head in fact the appearance is nigh on perfect. Aroma gives me my second UK BCA worry in as many days, light sourness comes off but there is some discernible malt. Taste is quite clearly showing signs of infection really incredibly tart, if its fruity then its jif lemon fruity, what is it with me and Leek so often I pick up ropey bottles, like my Litton Beer last night this was well in date and had another 3-4 months for the BBE, drainpour

Cask at GBBF 2006. A hazy orange-brown beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet sulphury combined with notes of caramel - is the sulpur from the hops? The flavor is sweet malty with notes of nuts as well as light sulphury notes, leading to a dry nutty end.

Cask at GBBF 2006. Mahogany with lasting beige head. Soft in mouth with some rich malt. Creamy, lacks a certain depth, but a hidden sourness is there too. Malt fruit is nice.

Bottle. Golden beer with a light head. The aroma is quite acidic and the flavour has a major hint of sulphur and a light amount of toffee and bitterness. Overall a disappointing beer.
