Bottled. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a longlasting mediumsized white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, some floral notes, mild parfumed soapyness as well as some slight maltyness. Flavour is quite malty with some sweet tropical fruity notes as well. Mild bitterness in the finish. Refreshing and even though being quite simple, its a rather nice session beer.

05/01/2011 Birrifugio Trastevere (handpump). Bevuta al Birrifugio Trastevere con Pippi. Dorata carica, con riflessi arancia e quasi ramati, lievemente torbida, schiuma morbida bianco sporca. Aroma fruttato, con nette note erbacee, fresca, decisa, di carattere. In bocca è abbastanza decisa ma senza perder il tradizionale "aplomb" inglese, note di malto leggere, quindi un bel finale luppolato lungo e coinvolgente. Corpo medio, liscia, bevibile. Birra davvero interessante e ben fatta, una delle mie bitter preferite.

Draught @ Cruise Roma - Barcelona, Un Mare di Birra, Grimaldi Lines.Unclear - hazy light to medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, light grain - rye - oat - wheat, light to moderate hoppy, citrus. Initial flavour is moderate sweet, light light acidic and light moderate bitter, finish flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, yeasty, lemon - citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110611]
