Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is fairly fruity with grapes, dried fruits, dark malt, alchohol, oak, cognac. Flavour is medium sweet with a light bitter boozy finish. Body is above medium. Some nice cognac notes in here, a bit sharp.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is toffee, dried fruits, sherry, malt, caramel, oak, alcohol, raisins, grapes. Some more woody notes. Flavour is medium sweet, light bitter. Body is medium. Sweet and oaky, plenty of sherry notes.

Bottle from Mitra Ballast, Coevorden. Peat and iodine upfront with dark malt, whiskey barrel, roast, ash. Almost a bit sourish flavour. Body is medium. Heavy peat, ash, iodine. Not the best Eggens BA, thinnish and lacks balance.

Bottle. Robustly malty with caramel, nice barrel notes. Soft whiskey, red wine, molasses, red/dark fruits. Medium sweet, alcoholic finish. Medium plus body. Not a lot of traditional Quadrupel left, but very nice.

Can from a local bottle shop. Soft and smooth with an aroma of tropical fruit, wheaty malt, oats, mango, orange. Gentle light bittersweetish flavour, medium body. Lacks a little punch but very smooth and easy to drink.
