Bottled@omhper-post-SBWF-1st-weekend tasting. Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruits, yeast, licorice and some alcohol. Flavour is licorice, alcohol, spices. A rather nice thing. Pleasantly balanced flavour. As it gets slightly warmer it gets quite much coffee in it.

Bottled, thanks davidpl! Very black, small head. Aroma of chocolate, alcohol and licorice. Very sweet with vanilla and raspberries to go with the chocolate and licorice. The high sweetness bnurns and gets company of warming alcohol in the finish. Quite powerful, but the least well balanced beer from this fantastic brewer.

Bottled, thanks Lilith, Nigredo & Panzerfaust! Opaque black, minimal brown head. Evident aroma of coffee and roasty malt. Dryish and firm with rounded mouthfeel. There’s grapefruity hops coming through the coffee and licorice. Tarry bitter finish. A very solid, powerful and straight forward hoppy stout.
