PET bottle from brewery. Clear dark brown colour. Rather short lasting head. Quite nicely balanced tmavy, not overly sweet, instead pronounced bitter roasty coffeeish flavours. I like the balance, easily drinkable. Very good.

PET bottle from brewery. Deep golden colour. Quite nicely integrated honey flavour, balanced sweetness with bitterness, nothing stands out too much. More body than their Car. Very good.

Tap at the brewery. Excellent pilsner. Clear golden colour, stable white head. Honeyish sweet malty character ideally balanced with soft spicy Czech hops flavour and bitterness. Moderate body, very easily drinkable. Sessionable. Excellent.

Draught. Aroma is a bit of coffee and dark malt. Light bitterness, slightly sour. Not bad, but not very good as well - not very interesting.

Draught. Golden colour, nice head that lasts long and shows good lacing. Aroma is malty, with a bit butter and herbs. Light bitterness. Very refreshing, maybe it lacks a bit more bitterness, but it’s a good beer.

(Draught at Pivovarsky Klub, Prague, 30 July 2011) Dark brown colour, almost black, with hints of ruby. Lasting beige head. Roasted, malty nose with dark bread, raisins, prunes, caramel and chocolate. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dark fruit, raisins, prunes, caramel, chocolate and a mild bitter-sweet, toasty finish. Medium body. Very well balanced and tasty. Nice one.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw as well as a bit of minerals. The flavor is very sweet with notes of malt and straw, leading to a bitter finish. The body is light. Thanks yespr for sharing.

On tap: Deep ruby-amber coloured, big creamy tanned head, light to moderate dryish toasty-caramelly nose, a subtle fruitiness underneath; dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, pretty soft; lingering fruity and sweet caramelly-toasty finish. Well crafted czech stuff.....
