About
New Quay Honey Farm started in 1995 when my parents made the move from Dairy Farming to Bee Farming. We had been beekeeping in the family for years; I started at the age of nine after some encouragement and guidance from a neighbour, and on buying my first hive the interest was sparked in all of us.

We now have hundreds of hives spread across the beautiful Ceredigion countryside in small groups which give us a beautifully blended honey from the depth and diversity of the wildflowers in the county.

Taster at Stockbridge market. Pours clear yellow. Nose is floral honey, vanilla, clove. Taste is strong honey with hazelnut finish. Pretty nice.

Taster at the Stockbridge market. Nose is ginger, honey, walnut. Palate is rich ginger, pretty sweet, spicy finish. Good.

Bottle thanks to cgarvieuk. Appearance - bright orange to red. Nose - floral honey. Luscious. Taste - more of the honey. The raspberry comes through well at the end. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long luscious tangy finish. Overall - lovely.

200ml bottle. Pours pinky orange with no head. A bit murky. Aroma is beeswax and a little plastic. Taste is very sweet, with blackberry, honey and cough syrup. Blackberry on the aftertaste.
