0,33 l bottle out of the mixed 6er. A darkest brown nearly black in the glass, one finger dark beige head. Looks really good. Cherry malty on the nose. Taste is more on the malty side, roasty, increasing dry cherry, little bit alcoholic. Mid dry bitterness. Nearly zero carbonation. Nice.

Sensory Session #50: [Senatsbockanstich] deep brown color and a huge tan head. Slightly acidic nose, malty, coffee, faint cherry. Taste of roasted malts, dark coffee, acidic, bitter hoppy.

Aus der Flasche beim Hamburger Senatsbock Anstich 2022-01 getrunken. Dieses braun-schwarze Bock kommt mit einer kräftigen, beigen Schaumkrone, die jedoch recht kurzweilig ist. In der Nase hat es eine typische Robusta-Kaffee-Säure wie Biere mit starken Röstaromen durchaus haben können. Am Gaumen hat man hier eine leicht Bitterkeit der Röstaromen, die von einer dunklen, kräftigen Schokolade angeführt wird. Dahinter versteckt sich fast das Malzaroma. Der Körper wirkt etwas verhalten. Nach einiger Zeit bekommt es ein richtig schöne Balsamico Aroma was fast an ein Flämisch Red erinnert. Ein gutes Bier!

Bottle picked up from Craftbeer - shop (online shop), Parchim, Germany, had this sat in Frank camper at Lenggrieser mountain Camping Friday 27th January 2022 taking part in the live online tasting event. Pours dark brown with a little ruby glint, there is a small light beige head. The Brewster is talking about microbe's from the wood and there certainly seems like there is a bit of Brett here, moutheel is very Coca cola like . Soft moutheel, tangy, malty and dark fruits, the usual chocolate and maltiness is pushed back here. Very good.

11/12/2021. Bottle sample courtesy of SHIG. Pours very dark brown with a very small bubbly beige head. Aroma is woody, boozy, cognac, roasted malt, cocoa, dried fruits and berries. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, light tartness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, average carbonation. Enjoyed this more than the previous one just tried from them.
