Description
MickDuff's Brewing Company was established in early 2006 in the picturesque town of Sandpoint, Idaho, by brothers Mickey and Duffy Mahoney. The idea to start such a place came from the brothers' fondness for hand-crafted beer and the desire to live in a year-round vacation locale. Their efforts resulted in a family-friendly restaurant and Brewpub on First Ave and grew to now include a Beer Hall & Brewery Tasting Room at their production facility around the corner on Cedar St.

Draft at Drover’s Run, Christmas Eve with my father-in-law. Dark copper orange color with a finger of beige head. Aroma is hoppy with florals and citrus. Well hopped flavor; lots of citrus and pine. Big bitter notes and a nice citrus sweetness to balance. Had a couple pints of this, really nice effort from a brewery that is hard to find outside of the panhandle.

From notes via ditmier growler fill. Pours out orange amber topped with a small sand head. Nose is citrus pine brown sugar malts. Taste is more of the citrus hops grapefruit rich sweet malts and that brown sugar shows again.
