500ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy and slightly husky, spicy, pale malty aroma, a weak touch of biscuit and cracker. Taste is minimally sweet and spicy, pale malty, slightly bitter hoppy, a minimally mineral touch as well. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft carbonation. Clean and simple - nothing spectacular.

500ml bottle. Wonderful, opalescent, ruby colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Spicy malty and grassy hoppy aroma, a touch of caramel. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel and slightly dark malty, hints of malt lozenge, a touch of caramel, subtle malty spiciness, bitter hoppy counterpart. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Very nice colour, balanced, not too sweet, nice spicy subtleties - pretty decent.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, pale orange, bright golden colour with average to huge, fluffy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Rather weak, minimally grainy, husky, pale malty aroma, a touch of protein, doughy yeasty overtones. Taste is minimally grainy, pale malty, slightly doughy yeasty, minimally biscuity, a touch of protein. Creamy-watery texture, smooth, soft and silky palate, fine, soft, creamy, mildly prickly carbonation. Not overly intense, well crafted - nice.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish, dark golden colour with small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Yeasty fruity and slightly yeasty spicy, slightly floral, and wheaty malty aroma, hints of dried banana, a touch of pear, clove, some chamomile. Taste is relatively dry (or better non-sweet), wheaty malty, slightly yeasty fruity, minimally floral, a lemon dash, minimally diluted hints of banana, some chamomile, a touch of pear. Creamy-watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Well balanced, well controlled sweetness, in no way banana dominated, very nice floral touch - good!

Windsheimer Reichsstadtbier aus dem Brauhaus Döbler, Flasche von Eitel, Dietersheim. - Orangegold, hefetrüb. - In der Nase bonbonsüßes, blaß karamelliges Malz, süßes Obst (Mandarine, Pfirsich), Hefe; nur milde, hintergründige herbale Hopfung mit mediterranen Anklängen. - Antrunk wäßrig dünn karamelmalzig mit weicher süßer Frucht, kandierte Orange, Trockenpflaume. Arg milde herbale Herbe. Leicht unsaubere (obergärige) Noten - oder ist das nur die viele Hefe? Stark rezent, schlank. Im Abgang zu milde orangenfruchtige und herbale Herbe. - Für ein fränkisches Kellerbier zu süß, viel zu blaß gehopft und von dieser matten, weich-süßlichen Fruchtigkeit, die bei mir immer die Assoziation fuselig weckt, vielleicht zu Unrecht. Trocken hefiger Beginn. Geringe Süße, etwas herb, dumpf. Wenig Banane, mild würzig, die Intensität steigt leicht an. Mittellanger Abgang. Okay. 10/8/9/8/7/9

Süffiger, mild rauchiger Beginn. Helle trockene Herbe, Nuancen von Apfel, die Rauchigkeit nimmt ab. Trocken hellmalzig bleibend, etwas monoton, schwach aromatischer Abgang. 8/10/8/8/8/8
