On tap at the brewpub. A clear, amber beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is a bit weak, with caramel and fruity scents. Caramel, some bitterness and a fruity touch in the flavor. Dry on the palate, nice carbonation. Bitter finish. Not the most exiting amber I’ve had, a bit dry too I think. 130812

On tap at the brewpub. Really dark, almost black, topped by a light tan head. The aroma is roasted, with coffee, some toast and chocolate hints. Dry, full-bodied and a bit heavy on the carbonation. The flavor is roasted, with toast, coffee and a hint of prunes. Long, roasted finish with a nice bitterness. A tad dry I think, but nice. 130812

Bottle, 22oz, thanx Per A. It pours a more or less clear body, golden in color and with a finger-thick off-white head. The aroma is sort of like a regular Belgian blonde with a strawberry addition. Strawberry and beers are seldom a good combination, but at least it sort of works here. Strawberry sourness, strawbeery sweetness, pale malts and a generic fruityness in the flavor. Medium body, rather effervescent. Strawberry finish with some lemon and pale malts. Not a very nice one, but it drinks easily and won’t scare anyone away. 110129

On Tap. Pours with a amber body and an off-white ring. Aroma of caramel and fruit. Taste is nutty (peanut shells) with fruit, light dark roasted notes and caramel. A bit too fizzy and thin on the mouth.
