355ml can. Pours a clear copper with a small, creamy, short lived, beige head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of toasted malt, caramel, dark chocolate and nuts. Sweet flavour of toasted malt, caramel, bread and nuts with a hint of dark chocolate in a dry finish. Light to medium body with a watery texture and soft to average carbonation. Ok.

Dark amber-brown with a thin head. It’s ok...has some of the toffeeish notes you want, but it’s thin...not enough residual sugar, not enough malt complexity and not enough bitterness to balance. Take away all the best elements of the style and you’re left with ok.

Bottle from BC Liquors, Yaletown
Light amber color, clean. Maple pecan aroma. Biscuity maple fudge, moderate sweetness, no bitterness.

Gold, white head. Nose of dirty socks. Vague boring palate. Beer of the year ? Bullshit

Bottle - Maple syrup. Clear gold with a small head. Tons of maple syrup and not much else. Sweet with a long finish.

650mL bottle, pours a clear golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out subdued maple, not a whole lot else. Flavour brings out a pleasant maple syrup character in a rather subdued way. Not complex at all, but it's rather nice overall. Solid.

Tasting at Matt’s
Amber color, hazy. Malty aroma and flavor, with a light grainy touch, sweet, a bit cloying in the final. Simple beer.

Golden brown. Earthy with a light caramel note. Sweeter caramel taste, with a fairly nice fruitiness. It’s decently balanced but ultimately not very exciting.

650mL bottle, pours a hazy amber orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out toasted caramel malt, candied sugar and restrained hops. Flavour is sweet and simple, with residual candied sugar and caramel. Quite sweet and sickly. Not very convincing.

Deep amber, fast fading biege head.Spciy nutmeg/cinnamon nose.Palate is similar but much more vague. Thin, dry malt start, lightly sweet finish
