Description
Our brewery opened in July 2013. The brewery moved at the beginning of 2018 to the Rue des Lignes in Angoulême, a stone's throw from the railway lines. We are of course continuing to brew our beers and develop our range, but above all a real winery has been created, as well as a Taproom dedicated to the on-site consumption of our beers and a space dedicated to take-out. Equipped with a 50 HL brewhouse and new fermenters, we can more easily offer contract brewing, as well as wort production for spirits.

18/IV/25 - 44cl can @ Cave à Bière Namaspamousse (Uzès), holiday in France, BB: 15/VIII/25, 10:16:09 (2025-369)
Pretty clear orange blond beer, nice creamy off-white to yellowish head, stable, a little adhesive. Aroma: nice, a little malty up front, fruity notes, some tropical fruits, juicy, citrus, a hint of diacetyl though… MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: good bitterness, hoppy, a little malty, grassy, nice bitter hops, slightly fruity, grassy, a bit watery, some herbs, some tropical fruits, a bit piny. Aftertaste: hoppy, bitter, some citrus, very piny, resinous, nice bitterness, slightly sweet, some caramel malts, more sweet and quite some diacetyl on warming up in the glass.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Woody, oaky and roasty, slightly chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, dark chocolate, dry cocoa, hints of bark with dusty, fungous and worm-eaten aspects, alcoholic whiffs of cognac. Taste is BA supported, roasty and chocolately, dark malty, slightly woody, minimally alcoholic, some residual sweetness, hints of coffee, dark chocolate, dry cocoa, cognac, oak, bark.
Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, silky, minimally cloying palate, medium to fine, dense, creamy, mildly prickly carbonation.
A tad disharmonious, fusty due to the BA induced flavours - bummer!

Can at the Airbnb from Super U. Opaque golden pour with a quickly dissipating head. Nose is herbal, grassy hops, pine and light fruity notes and some metallic notes. Also some citruses as it opens up. Taste is bitter hops, faint notes of grass and pine, tangerine and apricot. The finish is dry and vaguely bitter with some metallic notes. I didn’t like this initially as it was heavily metallic and also seemed oxidized but with time it opened up surprisingly nicely (compared to the rough start at least).

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with smal to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, brown head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty and minimally caramel malty aroma with weak BA support, notes of cocoa, dark chocolate, couverture, some calvados, submerged hints of coffee. Taste is BA supported, slightly bitter alcoholic and bitter roasty, dark malty, chocolately and caramel malty, initially alcoholic notes of calvados, dark chocolate, some alcoholic and roasty bitterness, middle part with wonderful, deep coffee flavours, notes of freshly roasted coffee beens, mocha, sugared espresso, weak ashy overtones; return of the calvados in the last third with some caramel sweetness, a fruity touch of apple, decrease of coffee flavours, minimally warming, alcoholic finish.
Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation.
Slightly disharmonious prelude, excellent middle part (the coffee flavours do it), compromise finish; neither overly complex or intense nor subtle - pretty decent overall.
