Bottle shared with Erwin Van Moll @ Van Moll Brewpub. Hazy dark orange to reddish color, medium to full sized stable white head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, lightly sweaty, apricot bitter. Taste lightly malts, apricot, apricot fruity bitter, bitter, again slightly sweaty. Medium body and carbonation. Hmm not great.

500ml bottle. Clear, darkest brown colour with ruby red glimmer and huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Dusty, chocolately, dark malty aroma. Taste is chocolately dark malty, hints of dark chocolate; lively carbonation, a creamy to slimy layer remains on the tongue, though.

Dark orange colour. Strong aroma of piney eartgy hops. Flavour is initially bitter with piney hops. Later syrupy fruiry notes come through. Perhaps a bit too bitter overall.

Butelka 0.5l (27.08.2016). Piwo klarowne o głębokiej, miedzianej, delikatnie czerwonawej barwie. Piana biało-szara, obfita, całkiem trwała z wyraźnym lacingiem. Aromat słodowy, karmelowy, podkreślony nutką chmielu, niezbyt intensywny ale wyraźny i bez wad. Goryczka ziołowa, niska chyba nie ma deklarowanych 52 IBU, dość zwiewna jak na niemieckie chmiele. Z drugiej strony delikatna karmelowa podbudowa słodowa, bardzo delikatna i lekka w odbiorze taka na granicy pustki. Piwo lekkie w odczuciu, całkiem pijalne ale bez większych zachwytów.

Tap at Craft Bier fest, Vienna. Golden color white head. Citrus hops apricots in aroma. Taste, very harsh bitterness with light hops and some fruits. Not very enjoyable beer.

Amber-orange, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, slightly yellowish head.
Aroma of banana, citrus, cloves, bread, vanilla.
Tastes of banana, dried fruits, citrus, mango, some passion fruit, bread, some vanilla, spices.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes fruity, medium sweet, a bit spicy, with a slight fruity sourness, a bit bready, a bit yeasty.

Nice one. The nose is quite boring, but the taste is nice, with a good mix of the typical Weizen aromas and fruity hoppy notes, reminding me a bit of the famous Hopfenweisse from Schneider Weisse. Overall not on par with the Hopfenweisse at all, but still a quaffable, hoppy Weizenbock.

Tap at Craft Bier Fest Wien. Quite assertive clove and slightly less banana. Pretty good beer, though slightly bubblegumy and bretty.

Tap at Craft Bier Fest Wien. Socky, stalish, desperately lacking carbonation. TBH I do not get the apricot here. All in all this does not please me very much.
