Draft - Nice citrus hops and lots of caramel. Clear gold with a good white head. Pithy up front bitterness, mellowed with lots of caramel sweetness and a dry finish. Smells much better than the taste, a bit too bitter.

Draft - Light grains. Clear gold with a rich beige head. Bitter citrus and caramel. Bitterness is a bit high without the twiggy bitterness I expect.

Draft - Caramel and some light toast. Clear Amber with a decent beige head. Caramel and toasted malts with a bitter finish. Very mild and more Amber than brown.

Draft - Toasted malts and pale malts. Deep brown with a light brown head. Toasted malts, light cocoa and a bit of a chocolate finish. Nice flavours and a light body. Nice.

Hazy amber color. Light aroma, but the malt flavor is more pronounced than in other beers within the style, with a hay and grassy touch, and slightly-above-average bitterness; biscuity and roasted hints too, roasted peanuts.

Black with a small brown head. Aroma is woody, whiskey and chocolate. Taste is woody, whiskey, vanilla and dark malts

Reviewed from old notes. Gee weez, I had this before I lived in Alaska. Thank you to Tom for sending this to me when I lived in Maine.
This was poured into a pilsener.
The appearance was a light copper to orange color with a one finger white foamy to bubbly head that dissipated leaving barely any lacing and what there was - was kinda all over.
The smell had a light toffee and caramel with a buttery note to it along with a biscuity malt to it.
The taste was basically the same with a light spiciness in and out of it.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it.
Overall, not a bad Oktoberfest, but not one of the better ones. Still, I wouldn’t mind trying more from this brewery.

On tap. Pours a dark copper with moderate head. light aromas of grass, toast, and caramel. Flavors are same with sweet malts up front and dry grassy hops to finish. Nothing special though.

Cloudy dark amber color, almost red-brown, with almost no head. Mild vinous aroma. The mouthfeel is not too dry; some vinous flavor too, and the expected salt; mild acidity; but the wine brings a character more similar to vinegar than fruits, so overall the elements are not very cohesive, although it’s not a bad beer.
