Description
The Brasserie du Bouffay, established in Carquefou, has been making craft beers since 1998, providing its customers with quality products. We offer and distribute our entire range ourselves, complete with ciders and non-alcoholic drinks selected by the brewery (fair trade, local and organic farming). All beers are pure malt, without adjuvant; the organic beer comes exclusively from barley from Brittany and Pays de Loire.

Cloudy amber color. Light malt aroma. Too much carbonation, a bit sour, I guess unwanted…

Cloudy golden color. Malty aroma, smooth, sweetish, a bit fruity. Anyway not impressive.

Orange colour, slightly hazy. Slight gushing, thick white head, not very stable. Nose with a bit of (cooked) vegetable, malt, carbondioxide. Quite dry taste, citrussy notes, but very restrained. Grainy-malt comes on, but retronasal (hoppy) bitterness. Mouthfeel is dry, but spritzy because of high carbonation. No new aftertaste. Pleasing, but not really characterfull. Would probably make a good session beer.

Cloudy red-amber color. Nice nose of malt, wood, hop. The flavor is nothing special, just some sourness.

Not so many words to spend: the wheat aroma is not so bad, but the rest is too watery.
