Old notes - A 330ml bottle from a trip to Nantes in 2013, pours pale hazy yellow with a white head. Aromas & tastes mildly of fruits & lemon followed by sugar. Passable witbier.

Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Beer#99. ST MALO. From June 2025. Much deeper coloured than amber - more amber-red in colour. The effect is the same though, and this is a crisp steady example in the style. Hop-malt balanced.

Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Beer#98. ST MALO. From June 2025. Weaker looking blonde colour, but no less a beer for it. It has a pleasant wit styling and some bready banana can be enjoyed in both aroma and taste.

Bottle. Murky dark orange featuring a beautiful big white head. Aroma of grapefruits and resin. Taste of grapefruits, caramel, resin and malts. Rather dry finish. Strong herbal bitterness. Low to medium carbonation. Quand la bière est tiré, il faut la boire.
