Description
Around 2000 Mike Penney’s ‘Troggi Seidr’ began to make cider and perry with his Victorian machinery. Troggi specialises in whole juice dry cider and perry and is developing bottle conditioned products.

[i] Polypin at Oxford Beer Festival 12-10-07 [/i] Poured straw colour with a bit of haze. aroma nice fresh juicy pears, lovely soft ripe pears in the taste regfreshingly tangy, it slipped down a treat.

From barrel @ GBBF 2007, London. Medium yellow grey color with virtually none head. Aroma is light apple, sugar, sour. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat.

Bag in the box at Planet Thanet BF 07. Nail varnish aroma. Stewed pears in mouth. Very dry on finish. Excellent dry perry. Lots of sour/chemical perry on aroma. Stewed pear fruit in mouth.

Bag in the box at Reading BF 06. Clear gold colour. Appley/rubber aroma. Even a bit cheesey. Very dry. Bit sour. Nice enough cider.
