Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, sour fruity malt, apple, chlorine. Flavor is moderate sweet, light light acidic and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090718]

RBESG Sheffield 2009, day 3, Smithfields Hotel, Manchester. Cask. Hazy light amber colour, white head. Aroma of piny hops and grassy vegetables. Flavour is the same, with a bit of sourness. Not in the best shape.

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, fruity acidic, moderate hoppy, orange, grass notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Cask at Smithfield Hotel, Manchester. A hazy chestnut colored beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel as well as light notes of butterscotch as well as light notes of citrus, leading to a dry bitter and malty finish.

Cask at Peterborough Beer Fest. Copper colour. Caramelly and estery with bubblegum and roasty malt. Medium sweet and medium bodied with fairly clean mouthfeel and low bitterness. Very peculiar with it’s bubblegum esters, but also very likable.
