Bottle, as Cuvee de l’Olympe Moelleux. A clear, golden mead, oily pour, and no head. Too alcoholic nose, with honey and some spiced notes. Sweet, honey flavor with a whole lot of alcohol. Very warming. Warming, sweet, honey finish with even more alcohol. Not bad, but way too warming. Rating: 5-3-6-3-11.2.8. 100813

Some herbal hints towards the end, but hony, nuts and flowers run the show. Lasting finish. Quite nice this one, seems it need some time in the cellar. 150131

Bottle. A clear, pale golden mead, oily pour, and flat. Mostly honey in the aroma, some flowers and a touch of spices. Sweet, honey flavor with a little sour touch. Oily, full-bodied mouthfeel. Honey and sweetness in the finish. A quite nice one, but a bit low on honey flavors. A quite nice one, nothing special though. 100813

Bottle. An oily, clear, golden mead without carbonation. Alcohol, honey, heather notes and a generic flowery touch in the aroma. Some spiced notes? The flavor is sweet and honey-ish, warming and full-bodied with some spiced notes. Warming finish with honey sweetness. Overall, a bit intense, but far from bad. Quite nice actually, even though the honey is a bit weak. 100813

Bottle, 14%. Farty aroma, quite rough. Clear golden colour. The flavour is quite sweet. Has a bit of spicy honey notes as well as some old wood.

Hazy golden color. Some aroma of honey and chemicals, alcohol too, not very interesting. Very sweet mead, with enough honey flavor and an interesting balancing acidity. Warming alcohol. Balanced but not very complex.
