(Draught at One Pint Pub, Helsinki, 20110625) The beer poured murky brown. Its head was small and white. Aroma had molasses, rye bread and mildly fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, caramell, mildly roastedness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was quite sweet with medium bitterness. Interesting and clean but too sweet for my taste.

Dark murky color, no head. Aroma of juniper, banana and some licorice herbs. Medium-bodied. Juniper, semi-sweet banana, interesting roasted notes, some bean-vegetably flavors. Aftertaste has even some ashy notes. Decent first Sahti from this nano brewery.

Draught@Helsinki Beer Festival 2011. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruits, mild wood, toasted notes as well as some diacetyl. Flavour is caramel malts, toffee, caramel and some mild diacetyl. Quite pleasantly balanced.
