Description
Bar Harbor Brewing Company is Bar Harbor's first microbrewery. For nearly twenty years, we've produced several gold and even platinum winning brews, all while producing only 260 barrels of bottle-conditioned beer a year. This is not just beer to drink. This is beer to be celebrated. Try any Bar Harbor brew and see what a champ tastes like. Please drink responsibly.
Admin Note: Bar Harbor Brewing was acquired by Atlantic Brewing Company. Some of the beers have been carried over by Atlantic Brewing and can be found under Atlantic Brewing.

22oz bottle consumed on 9/13/2005. Brew #01709 (batch number maybe?). Deep ruddy-chartreuse color with some burgundy tones in there. Bottle conditioned and unfiltered. Big, light-beige head. Lacing is in sheets. Awesome looking beer. Peach essence and dry yeast in the nose. Slight hint of pale, sugary grains. Flavor is VERY attenuated, surprisingly so. Hugely so. Dry and papery, notes of seltzer water and salt. Peachy, dry and pretty uninspiring. Peppery carbonation, more saltiness on the end, pretzels and zero sweetness. As it warms and breathes, the peach flavor is more noticeable and slightly pleasant, but just canβt recover from the strange texture and complete lack of malt sweetness.
