Poured into a pint glass, the appearance was a burnt orange color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Mild stringy lace.
The aroma takes some bready malt to try and blend with some citrusy and grassy hops. Light spice with a subtle dried floral quality.
The flavor leans with the malty side and seems to leave the floral quality out. Citrusy and grassy hops touch the bitterness portion. Bready aftertaste kicks up that spice to try and flow into the finish, but ends up slightly missing.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Mild carbonation. ABV seems appropriate. Malts crisp themselves nicely to my tongue.
Overall, this one was a pretty good APA that I could come back to.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a clean copper colored body with a half finger white head, there was some sporadic lacing leaving no rings. The lacing gently slid down the sides of the glass.
The smell was centered around the blueberries with just a bit of malt in the background.
The taste was the same, blueberries followed by the malts.
On the palate, it sat about a light to medium, sessionable, crisp and clean - very balanced.
Overall, this is an excellent choice for a blueberry ale if one decides to go for one. I would definitely have this again.

It poured a brownish/orange color with a half inch head that dissipates to a centimeter and lingers for a minute. A perfect foamy lacing surrounded the sides of the glass. Barely any carbonation was seen rising. The smell had some fruits, possibly plum. The hops are subdued but are slightly noticeably there. The taste had a light maltiness to it. Some of the fruits came back. There were some slight chocolatey tones to the taste. The hops are lightly balanced in. Closer to the end of the beer, some raisins came out. The palate was about a medium. The light ABV helped contribute to a mainly drinkable beer. Overall, this was an excellent beer. I would have this again in a heartbeat.

Bottle at Chriso’ Blue Mountains of Virginia tasting. Copper, thin beige head. OK. Decent amber/bitter type beer. Nice enough. English hops on the finish I thought.

22nd May 2010. ChrisOs ’Blue Ridge Mountains Of Virginia’ tasting! (Early hours of the morning rating). Clear amber beer. Very light white head. Floral lagerish nose which translates in to the taste. Sweet and dry. Not bad!

Bottled. A hazy red-amber beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has strong notes peaches as well as medium notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of peaches as well as notes of hay, malt, and a bit of minerals, leading to a dry spicy finish. The body is light.
