Keg at Pmacs, Dublin, 24/02/22. Lightly hazed orange amber witha good sized white cap. Nose is orange zest, melon, grass, toasted malts. Taste comprises lemon tinged straw, light herb, tangerine, grass, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with grassy come leafy hop bitterness. Just OK IPA ... sippable but had a touch of a soapy edge about it.

Bottle: Literally black, small creamy off-white head, mild to moderate sweetish-bitter aroma of roasted malt, traces of nuts and unmalted barley and dried fruits; mild sweetish-bitter flavour, accompanied by a light acidity; pretty light bodied, but pretty soft, too; shorter caramelly and roasty finish with an increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. 440ml can. Cloudy, amber colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity and piney hoppy as well as caramel malty aroma, notes of lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, some lemon zest, blood orange, minimally cheesy, sweaty, resinous overtones. Taste is citrusy fruity and piney hoppy, sweet-ish, caramel malty, notes of grapefruit, lemon, blood orange, sweaty, cheesy overtones, a minimally papery touch, moderate bitterness; lingering, bitter, piney and slightly leafy hoppy finish. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and dry palate, fine, soft, creamy carbonation. Reminds of the old days when West Coast IPAs were the shit; carries some Red IPA aspects as well - solid.

Herb fruchtiger Beginn. Natürlich nach Passionsfrucht, d.h. auch nicht zu intensiv, gut eingebunden. Leichte Bitterkeit die schnell ansteigt, etwas trocken, moderat hopfig. Langer, fruchtig bitterer Abgang. 8/11/11/10/9/11
