Description
Raphaël Mettler and his team have been brewing beer with a passion since 2003, and their enthusiasm is eminently contagious: the Trois Dames beers from Ste-Croix challenge the taste buds and flatter the eye, and that is exactly what makes them original. We believe in making a top-notch product, the reason why we carefully select fresh ingredients.

750 ml, bottled Oct 2017 Dark amber, hazy body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, yellowish head. Aroma of vegetable, cheese, citrus, some sweet malt. Tastes quite similar, more malty, boozy, leathery. Medium mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes wooden, leathery, dry, a bit vinous, a bit citric. Very nice. Heavy and a bit strange maybe, but interesting, with a unique mix of yeasty, fruity, malty and boozy notes. Becomes a bit vinous towards the finish. 7 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 15

0,75l bottle at home shared by Powy, big thanks. Bottled 10/2017. amber murky color, small white head. smells old hoppy, bit oxidized, spices, light candy, bit musty, bit glueish, nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes glueish, oak, some stone fruits, herbal, spices, candy, peppery, bit leathery, wood. finishes bit dry and medium bitter with notes of grass, stone fruits and some peppery notes. quite full mouthfeel, still quite bitter, not that easy to drink, overall still quite good stuff though. 7, 4, 7, 3, 16
