Dusty notes from Pistol Pete’s spring fling thing. I think I sampled this in my Yard’s tasting mug, notes aren’t exactly lengthy. -Smells of tingly apple cider, prunes, & some floral notes. Perfumey. Honey barely lingers in the background & isn’t much of a player overall. I didn’t write much on appearance except this it was much lighter then expected. Taste is green apple, apricots, mixed berries, & grape skin tannins. Extra cup of sugar. Syrupy. A bit of plastic sensed both ways. Warming for a low abv mead.

Aroma is cranberry sauce, a touch of vinegar, and rubber. Clear still yellow. Very dry and slightly tart. Watery mouthfeel. Rather flavorless initially, but with a noticeable alcohol burn. Crabapple is especially prominent in the finish. I really expect more from a mead.

Very subtle aroma of honey and pear. Clear pale yellow, still. Light body, nicely balanced. White grape and honey flavor, with much more of the former noticeable. LIght apple core finish. It tastes fine, and has some unique qualities, but overall it is rather mediochre. Suffers from a lack of intensity.

Honey and banana aroma, maybe some plum notes. Clear rose colored. Plum and hibiscus flavor. Honey is more in the background than in any other mead I’ve had. Banana in the finish. Silky texture, light body. Really easy to drink and very delicious. I got this for the North Dakota tick, but now I want to try all of this winery’s other stuff.

Bottle, 10%. The aroma starts off quite alcoholic, but quickly turns more pleasant. Raisin and plum with a woody, whiskyish alcohol note. Late sweet fruit note, apple, slightly perfumy honey. Clear yellow colour. Good sweet flavour, first quite fruity, ending with alcohol and raisin, some sweet honey. Very nice.
