Redoak is a local restaurant, bar, and brewery in Sydney which also happens to be Australia’s most awarded brewery. It offers the best beer & food experience in town. Established in Sydney 2004 by a brother and sister duo and is an Australian owned, small, independent brewery. The brewery uses 100% solar energy and works closely with local farmers.

Bottled. Amber colour, rich head. Fresh, tart raspberry aroma. Light bodied and balsamic with a near lambic like acidity. I really like the way Redoak makes their fruit beer tart, not sweet, and this one is really well made. If I were to complain about something, that’d be the somewhat clean/hard mouthfeel.

Bottled. Muddy dark red. Tart blackberry aroma. It is not with great anticipation I’ll approch a fruit beer made from a wheat beer, but this one is fairly refreshing with its juicy, lightly sourish blackberry flavour. The tartness adds a dimension, and good balance. But even though likable, it gets a little bit one dimensional, I must admit.

Bottled. Hazy golden. Malt aroma. Sweet and softly malty with low hop rate but well structured malt. rather low bitterness. It’s the buttery malt flavour that carries this beer.

Bottled. Clear golden. The aroma is more czechish than bavarian with its butterscotch and grassy hops. also the body points more towards east with its solid buttery maltiness and soft mouthfeel. It finishes salty with medium bitterness. A good pils it is!

Bottled. Near black. Sweet chocolate aroma and flavour. Roasty and woody with some coffee and a clean, rounded mouthfeel. Doesn’t go overboard in any direction.
