Description
Redoak is a local restaurant, bar, and brewery in Sydney which also happens to be Australia’s most awarded brewery. It offers the best beer & food experience in town. Established in Sydney 2004 by a brother and sister duo and is an Australian owned, small, independent brewery. The brewery uses 100% solar energy and works closely with local farmers.

On tap at Redoak Boutique Beer Cafe, pours a cloudy dull blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very laid back, with very restrained wheat. Flavour is very soft, with pillowy wheat and cereal malt. Not really any coriander or citrus. Decent.

On tap at Redoak Boutique Beer Cafe, pours a hazy copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out astringent metallic hops and toasted malt. Flavour is fairly astringent, with lots of floral metallic hoppiness and soapy finish. Like an amped up version of the Pommy Bitter, with all the same issues. Decent.

On tap at Redoak Boutique Beer Cafe, pours a hazy copper with a small white head. Aroma is quite pronouncedly hoppy, with lots of English hops. Flavour is very earthy, with a metallic tinge to it, along with subdued English hops and floral soapiness. Not a big fan - needs tweaking.

On tap at Redoak Boutique Beer Cafe, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out light honey and cereal malt. Flavour is lightly sweet, with honey upfront and dry cereal malt. Decent for what it is.

Schooner on tap. Faint hop nose. Light steady carbonation. Thin film on top. Light body, grainy taste, slight lemon in the finish. Another in an increasing list of ’aussie’ pale ales.

Sweet, alcohol, port wine aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness. Clear, dark deep reddish brown color, white to off-white head. Sweet, alcohol, vinous, malty, light of raisin scent.
